Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf’s Centre for International Affairs brings together the International Office, Funding and Career Service (IFC), the Language Centre and the HSWT International School. Development cooperation projects at TUM are multifaceted, involve a wide variety of fields, and are run by local partners around the entire world. The Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS) has been involved in International Cooperation for more than 40 years, with special focus on development cooperation, and is active in around 80 projects in more than 50 countries. Together with local partners, we implement projects in the areas of political consulting and political education. In doing so, equal-footing cooperation and our partners’ independence and self-responsibility is of particular concern to us.
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is a registered association that exclusively pursues non-profit purposes. Over 1000 colleagues in more than 100 offices worldwide take care of projects in around 120 countries; in their host countries they advocate for democracy, rule of law, freedom and a social market economy and promote exchange between Germany and the countries of assignment.
We want to contribute to Africa being increasingly perceived as a continent of opportunity. This also requires stronger networking between representatives from politics, business and civil society here in Germany with the respective actors in the individual African countries.
The German Africa Foundation (DAS) is a non-partisan foundation committed to the successful implementation of the Africa policy guidelines of the German Federal Government. As a facilitator, we offer a platform for partnership-based exchange between German and African actors and thus strengthen cooperation with the states and institutions of our neighbouring continent.
