AFN founder Martin Schoeller is Honorary Consul of the Republic Togo for Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Saxony. Together with his wife Eva, he is hosting the ‘Togo Festival of Friendship’.
Togo and Bavaria are linked by a close relationship that has grown over decades, with deep understanding, great respect and diverse connections – be it through private friendships, cultural exchange or economic cooperation.
In recent years in particular, Togo has developed into an important anchor of stability in West Africa. The country enjoys a high reputation in the African and European Union.
With the Togo Festival of Friendship, Honorary Consul Martin Schoeller and his wife Eva want to contribute to further deepening relations and friendships. The event is organised in cooperation with the Bavarian Togolese Society and the Africa First Network. Participants can expect Togolese artists, music and Togolese and Bavarian specialities. In addition, companies from Togo and NGOs such as Aktion PiT – Togohilfe introduce themselves.
